My name is Ashley Chen and I play the violin. I'm a senior at Allen High School and also a member of GDYO. I love jazz because it's a chance for self-expression and spontaneity outside my classical roots. In my free time, I like to bake and write.

Trinity Sun - Violin

Hi, my name is Trinity Sun. I’m a senior at Allen High School. I’m also a violinist. The reason I like jazz is because jazz music sounds cool and fun. In my free time, I like to draw or listen to music, and I’m also interested in 2D and 3D animation.

Micah Bybee - Clarinet

Hello, my name is Micah Bybee and I play clarinet with Youth Jazz International. I am a senior at Plano West High School and enjoy performing both classical and jazz repertoire. Outside of music, I enjoy reading, studying science, and playing strategy games.

Louie Yeh - Violin

Hello, I am Louie Yeh, a violinist in my junior year of high school. Outside of jazz, I also play in the Greater Dallas Youth Orchestra. I love watching Godzilla films and reading science fiction when I relax.

My name is Audrey Chen, and I play the violin in YJI. I enjoy jazz because it lets me be creative when I play my instrument. I am a freshman, and in my free time, I like to draw, play badminton, and code.

Conrad Ziegler - Violin

My name is Conrad Ziegler, and I am a Freshman at Flower Mound High School. I play the violin with Youth Jazz International. I am interested in Jazz because it gives me the opportunity to express my creativity and improvisation. In my free time, I like to travel, cook, bike, listen to music and work on compositions of my own.
